Gstaad Festival Academy

Laurent has been announced as one of the active participants for this year’s Conducting Academy during the Gstaad Menuhin Festival, taking place between the 31st of July and the 21st of August.
The 3 weeks course will see the young conductors work closely with renowned tutors such as Jaap van Zweden, Johannes Schlaeffli and Baldur Brönniman, conducting the Gstaad Festival Orchestra and the Theater Orchester Biel Solothurn in no less than 4 concerts.
The repertoire will include (amongst other) Tchaikovsky’s 4th Symphony, Beethoven’s 6th Symphony and Mozart’s 38th Symphony, as well as concerti including Tchaikovsky’s Variation on a Rococo Theme with star-cellist Anastasia Kobekina.
